A year ago today I had my worst mental breakdown hitting complete rock bottom, put into a mental hospital for 5 days then transferred to supported living for 6 weeks and no longer being able to work. I was suffering from anxiety, depression, psychosis and I had a manic bipolar episode. I had self harmed so bad I couldn't use either of my arms for 3 days. One of the hardest times of my life and I was away from my family and friends, waking up on Christmas Day/New Years Day alone. I'd given up on myself but I was fortunate that not everybody had given up on me. With the time, love, support and tears from those closest to me and me finding the strength to fight it, in the last 12 months I have managed to move into my own place living independently and be working full time again. It's been far from easy but if you want something bad enough then you have to believe you can do it to succeed. Never ever give up!

This made me cry you are a true inspiration, I too hit rock bottom and I'm a true believer that you have to hit rock bottom before you can climb back up. Well done for reaching such a milestone and I for one still have really bad days but count my lucky stars for those I have around me and what I do have than focusing on what I don't have xxx
